Dr Christina Kotsiopoulou graduated from the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2014. From the outset of her career, she developed a strong clinical interest in endodontics and the preservation of natural dentition.
After gaining experience within the Greek Military Dental Department and a specialist endodontic practice in Athens, she relocated to the UK in 2016, where she has since combined general dentistry with advanced endodontic care.
Christina completed a rigorous three-year MSc in Endodontics at Queen Mary University of London, graduating in 2022. Her postgraduate training focused on the management of complex primary root canal treatments, endodontic re-treatments, management of procedural complications, and the treatment of teeth with challenging anatomy.
She accepts referrals, including complex cases and re-treatments, providing treatment under high magnification with the use of operating microscope/loupes and contemporary evidence-based techniques. Her approach is meticulous, minimally invasive, and centred on long-term prognosis.
Christina is known for her calm and reassuring manner, ensuring patients feel fully informed and at ease throughout every stage of treatment, particularly those who may feel anxious about dental procedures.
Committed to clinical excellence, she regularly undertakes advanced postgraduate education to remain at the forefront of modern endodontic practice.
She speaks Greek (native), English, Spanish, and French, and has a basic knowledge of Mandarin.
Outside clinical practice, Christina enjoys travelling, reading, keeping active, and spending time with her young daughter.
